Facades and outdoor spaces
/ 01
Unlike 6820 micro decor, which is intended for interior walls, 6840 decor is a white facade render designed for outdoor conditions – frost- and water-resistant, with a vapour-permeable, breathable structure.
It is applied directly over brick, concrete, Leca blocks, masonry, or existing render, creating a continuous, lightly textured surface with an antique, natural look – ideal for both modern and traditional homes.

Designed for outdoor conditions
6840 decor is a white cement-based render that is both frost- and water-resistant. It withstands Latvia's freeze - thaw cycles without cracking and protects the wall from rain and moisture.
Its vapour-permeable structure allows the wall to breathe – moisture entering the wall can escape, thus preventing damage and mould. This is especially important for older masonry and brick homes.
The result is a facade that maintains its appearance for years and protects the building.
Antique, natural look
6840 decor creates a warm, mineral surface with a lightly textured, antique look. Hand-applied, every section is subtly unique – alive, not industrial.
The white tone suits both modern, minimalist homes and traditional, rustic-style buildings. It pairs beautifully with wood, stone, metal, and the surrounding greenery.
Texture and finish
/ 04
Smooth or textured
A single render can be finished in multiple ways.
Finish texture
The appearance of 6840 decor is determined by the application method. Using a steel trowel achieves a smoother surface; using a brush, roller, or sprayer creates a more pronounced, textured, antique effect.
The texture can be made as pronounced as desired by reworking the surface immediately after application. Each facade thus becomes unique.
White tone and colour
The natural white tone is warm and time-tested, reminiscent of traditional lime render.
If you want colour, the surface can be coated with a vapour-permeable (breathable) facade paint, preserving the wall's ability to breathe.

Mira system for outdoors
Two-step facade system – contact primer and white decorative render.
Process
/ 06
How to apply it
Preparation
The substrate – masonry, concrete, bricks, or Leca blocks – is cleaned and reinforced.
Priming
4180 primer, diluted with water 1:2.
Apmetums
Apply 6840 decor in a thickness of 2 - 5 mm, creating a smooth or textured surface.
Apdare
After drying, leave the surface as it is or repaint with breathable facade paint.
Care and maintenance
/ 07
Care and maintenance
Minimal maintenance
A mineral facade surface requires low maintenance. Rain or a garden hose mostly washes away dust and dirt.
The vapour-permeable structure prevents moisture from accumulating in the wall, keeping the surface clean and healthy for longer.
Long-term protection
Frost and water resistance means the facade retains its appearance for years and does not crack from freezing.
If over time you wish to refresh or change the tone, the surface can be repainted with a breathable facade paint.
