The living room and bedroom are places where we relax. Microcement creates a calm, continuous backdrop for them - warm, tactile, and free of unnecessary details.

In these rooms, the walls set the mood. Unlike smooth paint or wallpaper, microcement adds depth and natural texture - a surface that plays softly with light and makes the space feel calm and complete.

It is a thin mineral finish applied directly over existing walls, combining modern minimalism with the warmth of a natural material. A single accent wall or the entire room - microcement becomes a quiet, refined base for furniture, art, and living.

Why microcement in living spaces

A material that creates calm, warmth, and visual unity in a space.

Seamless calm

A continuous, seamless wall makes the space feel calmer and visually larger.

Tactile texture

A warm, matte mineral surface with subtle tone variations - alive, not flat.

Matte, non-reflective

Soft, diffused light reflection without glare - the space feels warm and cozy.

The space feels larger

A continuous surface without interruptions expands and calms the space.

Suits any interior

A neutral, refined backdrop for wood, textiles, art, and furniture.

Durable and sustainable

Resistant to daily scratches; properly maintained, it lasts for years.

The result is a space that feels complete and calm - modern yet warm, with the depth of a natural material that never feels cold or industrial.

Two rooms, one language

/ 03

Living room

The living room is the social heart of the home. A microcement accent wall - behind the sofa, around the TV, or fireplace - brings focus and character to the space without taking up room or cluttering it.

The continuous, matte surface acts as a calm backdrop for furniture, art, and natural light. It pairs perfectly with wood, textiles, and metal, bringing different materials together into one harmonious atmosphere.

Lighter tones make the space brighter and more spacious, while darker ones make it cozier and more dramatic. Each surface is applied by hand, making it unique.

Bedroom

In the bedroom, calm is essential. A microcement wall behind the bed creates a quiet, tactile headboard and wraps the room in a soft, mineral tranquility.

The matte surface does not reflect light, making the space feel warm and calm - ideal for relaxation. Natural tones and subtle texture create a cozy, almost cocoon-like feel.

Without seams and joints, the wall becomes a unified, calming surface that pairs well with wooden furniture and soft textiles.

Shades for living spaces

Warm neutrals and calm shades that bring warmth and depth to the space.

Calm, warm shades work best in living spaces. White and Silver make the room bright and spacious; Grey and Olive add a natural, soothing depth; warm clay shades create a sense of coziness.

Anthracite is perfect for a more dramatic accent - especially behind the bed or on a TV wall. Each shade is evenly pigmented throughout the material, with a subtle, natural variation in shade.

How to bring it all together

Microcement is a backdrop that brings out other natural materials.

Wood, textiles, and stone

The matte mineral texture of microcement pairs perfectly with warm wood, soft textiles, and natural stone. It acts as a neutral foundation that lets these materials stand out while connecting them in one cohesive language.

Combined with metal or glass, it adds an industrial yet warm contrast - modern, yet cozy.

Light and space

The matte surface softly diffuses light, so the room never feels harsh or cold. In daylight, the texture reveals subtle nuances of shade; in the evening, it becomes warm and cozy.

The continuous, seamless surface visually expands the space and creates a calm, finished feel - especially in smaller or open-plan spaces.

4 tips for the space

For microcement to look its best in the space.

Start with a single accent wall

You don't need to cover the entire room – a single microcement wall often creates a stronger effect.

Match the shade with the light

In a bright room, warmer tones work best; in a darker one – lighter tones, so the space doesn't feel closed in.

Entrust it to a professional

An even, smooth surface requires the correct application technique and experience.

Finish with a varnish

4720 decor topcoating protects the surface from dust and scratches and makes maintenance easier.
